We’re delighted to share that newly-signed Vanguarde client, three-time Juno Award nominee and two-time Gemini Award nominee Sarah Slean (Composer/Singer/Songwriter), will be performing at TIFF’s Tribute Gala at the Royal York Hotel on Friday, September 7th, 2018.
Sarah will be joining a 13 piece orchestra of all women to celebrate TIFF CEO Piers Handler, who is retiring after 36 years with the organization. With this retirement celebration, Mr. Handler hopes to raise $1,000,000 to support women working in film through TIFF’s Share Her Journey Campaign.
Sarah will be singing “Another Day of Sun” (La La Land) with Jeff Madden (Jersey Boys), as well as the Gladiator theme “Now We Are Free” (Zimmer/Gerrard) to honour Mr. Handler’s work with TIFF and support the fundraising campaign.
