Vanguarde Creator-Showrunner Floyd Kane’s series DIGGSTOWN has been greenlit by the CBC!
The new legal series is the first original Canadian drama to focus on a black female protagonist, and follows Marcie Diggs, a high-powered corporate lawyer whose legal perspectives shift when her aunt commits suicide after a life-shattering prosecution, emboldening Marcie to join a legal aid office in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
Our client Kelly Makin will be coming aboard as well as the pilot director of the series, which shoots late this summer/fall in the Maritimes.
Diggstown will air in the winter of 2019!
